National Mini Golf Day might not be a staple in your calendar, but we believe it should be! Falling on the second Saturday in May, it’s the perfect excuse to gather some friends and celebrate in style!
Swingers is definitely the best place to celebrate National Mini Golf Day (and we’re not just saying that!) With multiple exciting courses to play, lots of gourmet street food options, all backdropped by 1920s British seaside-themed decor, it’s about more than just novelty and intrigue – it’s also about prestige.
Swingers was first established in London, but its success meant that locations began to open in the US, with the Dupont Circle location first opening in 2021 followed by a second location opening in Nomad the following year. We’ve put together our list of must-dos when visiting Swingers, so you can experience all the fun there is on offer.

Our Nomad location transports you away from the hustle and bustle of New York, bringing you into the perfect setting for letting your hair down and challenging your friends. With three bespoke crazy golf courses to explore – The Waterwheel, The Clocktower, and The Windmill – you’ll have a great time trying to avoid the cleverly placed obstacles and beat your friends to sink a hole-in-one in the fewest tries.
Our two courses at Dupont Circle, The Waterwheel and The Clocktower, provide the perfect chance to battle your friends in a vibrant space tucked away beneath the bustling streets of DC. If you’re in the DMV area, you can bring the whole family along from Sunday, May 12th (the day after National Mini Golf Day!) Our Family Fun package welcomes groups of under 21s every Sunday before 6pm for an unforgettable family experience. Our specially designed activity sheets will keep the kids entertained (for ages 5+) even after the mini golf fun on the course has finished.
All that golfing is sure to leave you hungry! We’ve got that sorted – our gourmet street food offerings at both locations are the ideal way to finish off your National Mini Golf Day celebrations.
At our NoMad location, you can find Emmy₂ Burgers featuring all the delicious beef and chicken burgers you could dream of, accompanied by mouth-watering sides such as mozzarella sticks and zia fries.
You can also opt for fuelling up on something from Tacos Fonda – starting with one of their multiple guacamole options, following up with the difficult decision between tacos and tortas (or getting both!), and adding sides like nachos or esquites.
Or enjoy the fabulous Sauce Pizzeria, sampling starters including garlic knots, vegan meatballs, and pepperoni pinwheels, moving on to one of the seven 18” pizzas on offer (also available by the slice or with a cauliflower crust).
We’d recommend finishing on something sweet from Mah Za Dahr, such as the lemon curd cake, dark chocolate fudge brownie, or doughnut holes.
Our Dupont Circle venue offers lots to consider food-wise. Kneadza Pizza’s starters include arancini and the cheesiest cheese toasted ravioli of your dreams. With eight pizza options to choose from, there’s something for everyone – like the sound of the Piccante (Red sauce, mozzarella, fancy pepperoni, Calabrian chili peppers, hot honey), or BBQ chicken (Red sauce, BBQ sauce, mozzarella, pickled jalapenos, red onion), or keep it simple with the OG (red sauce, mozzarella, basil)?
Or choose something from Lil’ Succotash – the chicken wings and jalapeño poppers are a great starter before moving onto a main of one of the multiple burgers and sandwiches available, all served on a brioche bun.
Maybe you’d prefer something from TuTaco? With classic starters from guacamole to empanadas and nachos, it’ll be difficult to not fill up before you move onto the mains. With six taco options to choose from, you’ll be tempted to sample multiple (we don’t blame you!). TuTaco also offers churros with chocolate sauce – it’s your choice whether you share them with your group or keep them to yourself!
If the mention of churros has got your sweet tooth tingling you can choose to end your meal with one of their delicious desserts – from cookie duos to apple crumble, to soft serve, it’s the perfect way to satisfy a sweet craving!
Has all the mention of food got your mouth watering, and you’re looking for a way of washing it down? We have a number of fantastic drinks offerings to quench that thirst and add a buzz to your celebrations. A particular favorite for visitors to Swingers is the Frost Delay Margaritas, the ideal fruity delight to cool you off after some heated mini golfing competition. Book in for our Weekend Set at Nomad or Dupont Circle to sample the delights of our drinks menu in a two hour bottomless session to accompany your unlimited tee-offs.
If mini golf really isn’t your thing (although we don’t understand why it wouldn’t be…) you can still visit the bar just for a drink with no cover charge. Hopefully just surrounding yourself in the world of mini golf will help you celebrate (are you sure we can’t tempt you into a game?)

Group packages are available to book in both the DC and NYC locations, with the option to reserve a table, get food and drinks, and have a dedicated tee off time, so you know exactly what time the fun starts.
If you’re looking for an even bigger event, we have a range of unique spaces across both venues that can be hired and completely closed off just for your celebration. When you hire out a space at our NoMad or DC locations, you’ll have access to a dedicated team to help oversee the event and premium food and drink for all of your guests.
If you want to go the whole hog with your National Mini Golf Day celebrations, you may as well dress accordingly. While we’d rather you didn’t arrive at our locations in fancy dress, we certainly encourage golfing attire! Socks up to the knee, argyle sweater vests, and visors are the way to go—when you turn up for a game of Mini Golf at Swingers dressed to impress, everyone will think you’re a pro!
