Not drinking alcohol doesn’t mean you should be left with just the option of a soft drink. There are plenty of mocktails to try – whether you’re looking for something fruity, refreshing, or something with a bit of a kick.
We’ve put together a list of mocktail recipes you have to try this year (all available at Swingers!).
Mojitos are a classic cocktail that are lots of people’s go-to drink in the summer. You won’t have to miss out on this refreshing cocktail, as, with a simple twist, it’s easy to make it alcohol-free.
Substituting the white rum out for apple juice is the perfect way to ensure you can enjoy flavours similar to a mojito but remain sober. Keeping the lime, soda, and (very importantly!) mint all in the same proportions as a regular Mojito, top it up with apple juice for a fruity finish on this fresh drink.
This mocktail is also available at Swingers, so you can enjoy it alongside a fun night out with friends on the courses.
Another spin on a classic, the Virgin Piña Colada is a tropical, creamy treat and – you’ve guessed it – it’s also available at Swingers!
Mixing pineapple juice, coconut and maraschino cherry syrup, and a splash of lemon juice makes for a drink fit for a relax by the pool, the perfect reminder of being on holiday.
Swingers has been serving up Clean Co’s zero-alcohol drinks for a few years to provide delicious non-alcoholic alternatives on its bar menu. Clean Co, founded by Spencer Matthews of Made in Chelsea fame, aims to give people more choices in how they enjoy their favourite drinks. Matthews said of the partnership at the launch: “At Clean Co, we want to give people more choice when it comes to how they drink their favourite drinks, and our partnership with Swingers means that guests get to enjoy a full-flavour non-alcoholic cocktail without having to compromise on taste or social experience, so they can play at par.”

If you’re looking for a light and refreshing mocktail, Rumour Has It we’ve got the perfect option for you!
Combining Clean Co’s alternative to rum, Clean Co Clean R, with lime juice, basil, vanilla syrup, and Double Dutch pomegranate & basil soda creates a herbaceous mocktail that you’ll want to tell your friends about!
Clean Co’s gin alternative, Clean G, provides the ultimate relief from anyone missing a gin and tonic but wanting to stay sober. At Swingers, you can find Clean G combined with lemon juice, hibiscus syrup, and pineapple juice to create a fruity mocktail that’s the perfect fuel for a few rounds of mini golf with friends.
Clean Co’s alcohol free answer to tequila, Clean T is mixed with cranberry juice, cinnamon syrup, and lemon juice to create the Miami Breeze.
A delicious mocktail option bursting with flavour, this drink is bright and energetic – a great accompaniment to a venue with the same vibes!
If you’re looking to drink your mocktail in an alcohol-free environment, while still getting all the fun of a bar, a couple of alcohol free bars have opened up in London. These are ideal if you’re wanting to steer clear of temptation, or steer clear of drunk people!
Club Soda sells low and no alcoholic beverages, across cocktails, beers, and wines. With a tasting room in Covent Garden, you can go along and sample over 150 drinks for free. If you like what you taste, you can book a table at the location and make a night of it!
Also available at their Covent Garden location are non alcoholic cocktail making masterclasses, tailored tasting sessions, and regular pop-up events, such as meet the maker days and sampling days.

If you’re a fan of the alternative scene looking to stay sober, head on down to Raven Records in Camden. Here, a heavy metal record shop, coffee shop (serving Polish metal band, Behemoth’s own brand of coffee), and alcohol-free bar, converge to create the perfect meeting ground for any occasion.
Supplying seven types of alcohol-free whiskey, along with gin, vodka, tequila and botanical and mood enhancing spirits, they also stock a full range of 0.0% beers and ciders, including beer from independent craft brewers along with products from mainstream breweries including Heineken 0.0 on draft. You can also choose to nab a Liquid Death drink or a CBD and mood enhancing drink from brands Trip, Goodrays and Peak.
