Is there anything quite as satisfying as a fresh, flavourful taco? Whether you’re all about the meat or vegan-to-the-core, the big smoke has a whole range of tacos on offer. If you’re looking to find out where the best tacos in London are, you’ve come to the right place.
We’re not just about crazy golf. Our exclusive menu from Breddos includes mouth-watering tacos that can be found at both our City and West End locations. Breddos was initially founded in a Hackney car park back in 2011. Their delectable delights are inspired by travels across the Americas and Mexico and the taquerias encountered. Choose from vegan, fish, and meaty options with perfect toppings. Double up our tacos for £8, or go for magic number three for £10.95. It’ll be difficult to stop at just one.

Homies on Donkeys is friendly, inviting, and incredibly tasty. Enjoy the graffiti walls and the hip hop music as you settle in for some tasty nosh. This taqueria is owned by Head Chef Smokey, who mixes up local and traditionally Mexican ingredients. The menu includes bavette steak, chicken thighs, and vegan roasted broccoli tacos. You’ll be pleased to learn that tacos here come in twos. For those who like a bit of heat, opt for the salsa tasting platter to dip in alongside. There’s no cutlery, so prepare to get messy fingers.
Featured in the 2022 Michelin guide, Santo Remedio has two London locations to choose from. Speciality ingredients used here are sourced from Mexico, and are cooked using traditional techniques – so you can expect some truly delicious tacos. At London Bridge, guests can create their own tacos at the table. Choose from lamb shank, sea bass, or twelve-hour cooked bone-in short rib. Yes please! If you want your tacos fully-built, there’s plenty to choose from. This includes pork belly, fish, and king prawns. If you’re headed to the Shoreditch spot, there’s also soft shell crab, grilled chicken, and butternut squash tacos on the menu. Enjoy tequila, mezcal cocktails, Mexican wine and beer alongside your handheld noms.
Cafe Pacifico is London’s oldest Mexican restaurant. This covent garden establishment has an impressive taco selection for all of your taco-heads. Each order comes with three tacos too. But what to choose? There’s the unique-sounding duck tacos with mole rub with goats cheese, rocket, and raspberries. Then there’s the vegetarian quinoa and avocado option with roasted garlic, pumpkin seeds, and sunblush tomatoes. Or how about the chef special street tacos with taro beans, which includes a range of delicious fillings ranging from seabass, beef filet, and chicken tinga? Decisions, decisions, decisions.
Mexa only opened this September, and is a sister to the popular Sonora Taqueria. Located at both Arcade Food Hall in Tottenham Court Road and Battersea, the eats here are authentic to founder Michelle’s Mexican heritage. The menu here is tight, with three taco options to try. All of these come on a corn tortilla base, and include confit brisket, pork, or grilled cactus for the veggies. Also expect toppings like grilled cheese, fresh and vibrant salsas, and pickled onions to accompany your taco.
For completely vegan tacos, head to Club Mexicana. There are two locations to hit up, in Brixton and Shoreditch respectively. Tacos on the menu include the classics but with a vegan twist.
You’ve got your classic soft corn tortilla base of course. But protein options include BBQ short ‘rib’, buffalo mushroom, and ‘cheezeburger’. These can be bought singly or in groups of three.
Oh and on Taco Tuesdays, eat as many as you care to enjoy for £20 for an hour. Make sure to wear stretchy trousers.
Taqueria can be found in Notting Hill, as well as the newly-opened branch in Exmouth Market. It all started as a food stall on Portobello road, and has grown into a classic taqueria. Think of an inviting atmosphere, and food that fuses traditional and modern flavours. Guests can choose from a soft corn tortilla base, or a lettuce cup if you’re gluten-free. Go for free-range chicken, line-caught fish, organic prawns, and locally sourced beef. Or plantain and aubergine halloumi options for non-meat eaters. Finish off your taco treat with tequila cocktail or margarita – Taqueria boasts an impressive selection of blue agave tequila, so it would be a shame not to try one!
Swingers, the crazy golf club takes the holy trinity that is crazy golf, street food and amazing cocktails and combines them all into one incredible social experience
